Well OHs second attempt at hatchling rack is complete.

And it is awesome

Made to fit 40 cricket tubs on (8 to a shelf), or 15 RUBs (3 to a shelf).

Currently heating up to temperature (pulse statted) so that it is ready for my little hatchlings, one of which is on the way out

Here it is:

Tubs ready for the 11 eggs which will hopefully hatch soon

Heated area using a routered channel, heat cable and aluminium tape

What do you guys think? I think it's turned out pretty good

Thanks OH is loving all the compliments on his handiwork

A slinter coxymk2? I'm going to assume that was 'splinter' He's splinter free and it is sanded smooth and lovely now so no danger to me...

Thanks The little snakes are on their way out of the eggs ready to start filling it. One out, two pipping now (one of them can poke it's head out, the other isn't that far along yet)

Thanks guys. I will pass on compliments to OH. It didn't cost much to build either, we have a good wood shop nearby who even did the routering for us. Including heat cable, wood and aluminium tape it was under £80 I think. I had a pulse stat lying around already Much better than buying a posh (and very very very expensive!) plastic one.

Thanks It won't be filled up this year with my little 11 eggs cooking but there might be more in it next year. If everything goes to plan it should be full in 2015
