Phoebe has double clutched.
I woke up this morning to find a new clutch of eggs being laid....somewhere round about 16 I think at the last count.
Wow, a first time mum too!!!

Is it possible to have good looking eggs which are infertile? I know how to tell which ones are slugs which are definitely not viable but can good looking eggs sometimes be infertile too?

The longer the female holds onto the sperm the less potent they become so the eggs may not be fertile......only time will tell.

She laid the first clutch on 30.03.13 and then fed 6 times (once a week) until 22.05.13 when she refused. She shed on 21.05.13 and then laid her second clutch of 16 good looking eggs early this morning.
Bless her heart.
