Is it ok to incubate the eggs at 88f or is that too high. I was told that as long as its below 90f its ok. Its sits steadly with a pulse stat but im just asking because I wanted to try a higher temp this year

I have also read that prolonged temperatures above 86 can cause neurological damage as well as kinks :(

As gmac says at that temp your asking for trouble, you could get a number of hatchlings with kinks. The eggs would hatch quicker but it's not worth the risk

for me thats too hot, thats about 31. ideally about 83-84 ish is ideal. At 31 this will incubate the eggs quicker and possibly encourage kinks not giving the hatchling tome for proper growth in egg etc if incubated at too high a temerature
