my corn laid eggs about 1 month after i got her from a friend, he had just had a clutch off her and then passed her on after a feed to her new home with me. 17 days ago i got an unexpected 2nd clutch (8 eggs), which she lay in her tank on aspen bedding. i have a home made incubator which i made using ideas on youtube, with humidity and temp steadily at the correct requirements.
the reason i am posting is that i am worried about the transfer of the eggs from the snakes tank to the incubator... i initially marked the eggs so i no which way up they were so i knew not to move them so they wouldnt drown. the eggs are now on day 17 with no signs of mould and no deflation or indentation. i have candled the eggs without moving them or touching them and see what appear to be nice healthy veins. ***if these had of been drowned upon transfer to the incubator, would these veins still be showing?*** i hope that makes sense. i cant post any pictures. thanks again.
