Got 10 special corn eggs incubating atm- have been sitting nicely since the beginning of June at around 29c.

Got home today to find my electrics had gone off and the incubator was at 23.7c.

Will they die, or be ok?

Can't wait to see the babies from this pairing so I hope they are all ok. Maybe I should have waited to get my caramel stripe couriered so I can have one of these babies delivered at the same time lol

a lower temperature is better than it going too high, they should be fine :)

Im pretty positive it will not kill them, like matty says ive heard that it can be beneficial too.

My eggs were fluctuating quite a bit towards the end of my inc period, and I got 7 healthy hatchies, and all but one struck and ate the first time.

Dont worry yourself too much, in the wild it would not stay at an exact temp :)
Good luck...

Oh and why are they special??

i read somewhere that slight temp changes can be benificial to the hatchling lol

had exactly the same thing happen to my 1st clutch this year, dropped to 23.2c. all the eggs hatched and the hatchlings we're healthy, every one ate 1st time. they will be fine
