Hi all,
Just wondering how often I should check my eggs, Just once a week to refresh the air? There are only two fertile ones which are attached to a slug. The fertile eggs seem to have sunken, even though the humidity is quite high, is this normal?

Thanks

Meh... maybe it's the mould that's killing them? I wouldn't know :(

No, well, there may be 1 drop, but more more than that

If you pick up the vermiculite and squeeze it, does water drip from it?

sounds good, just do the kitchen towel thing i said and it should re-hydrate them

what is your humidity reading?

yeah just once a week for a quick air exchange. they shouldn't really have sunken in yet. you can re-hydrate your eggs by placing a few sheets of kitshen roll over thm and praying that with water thats the same temp as your incubting at, you leave this on the eggs for a day
