Posted - 18/06/2012 : 15:56:31 Hi, I was just wondering if the 'new snake rule' (Do not handle your new snake for a week) applies to a hatchling? Or are you able to hold a hatchling almost straight away?

Posted - 18/06/2012 : 17:02:44 I don't handle new hatchlings much at all until they have had at least their first shed and 2 feeds, they are very skitty and easily hatched and can be a pain to get feeding.
I handle when moving them from the egg box to their tub, check them over and sex them, and then, apart from cleaning out, thats it really. |
