Hi,
I was just wondering if the 'new snake rule' (Do not handle your new snake for a week) applies to a hatchling? Or are you able to hold a hatchling almost straight away?

Sorry if it is a stupid question

i do the same. unless i get the odd one that bites a lot, then after the 1st shed and few feeds i handle them more so they calm down a bit

I don't handle new hatchlings much at all until they have had at least their first shed and 2 feeds, they are very skitty and easily hatched and can be a pain to get feeding.

I handle when moving them from the egg box to their tub, check them over and sex them, and then, apart from cleaning out, thats it really.

It's not stupid! I do not know the answer though but need to know as I have 3 eggs waiting to hatch!
