Posted - 23/05/2012 : 17:54:08 as in the title... my female shed exactly a week ago tonight and it was her pre-lay shed. last year she laid within a couple of days of shedding. she has had a lay box in there with damp moss now since she shed and she is ALWAYS in it, but still no eggs. how long should i wait before getting worried? :/ |

Posted - 24/05/2012 : 21:26:51 Just had a female lay 3 weeks after her pre-lay, and she's just fine, as are the eggs, so try not to worry just yet |

Posted - 23/05/2012 : 18:52:11 7 to 14 days is the average but 1 of my females took 16 days this year,so nothing to worry about. |

Posted - 23/05/2012 : 18:28:24 I think 10 to 16 days is normal lay time, but there is every chance I could be wrong x |
