different people prefer different things but perlite works perfectly for me. no maintenance and humidity in the 90's, might be worth a go for you
marc_sg Posted - 14/05/2012 : 22:47:31
also ive just got a beer fridge to make it more air tight and im gonna get different egg containers

ok i was gonna try moss but what do u thinks better

sorry you lost some, at least now like you've said you can focus on the ones you've still got. which of course we require pictures of!!

9 is good, some people have lost their whole clutch. Get the pictures up
marc_sg Posted - 13/05/2012 : 23:05:47
well ive ended up with 9. i just lefted the last two eggs and had a look at the coz of a slight colour change to find two punchure holes. and a fly come out the incubator. bearing in mind hatchlings cut out the top i opended them up one was half eaten. and the other had a head the took up half the egg. as i examined at the big head a part flapped over. and there it was a slot inside the head that looked just big enough for a magot to develop. im now wondering if that has any thing to do with the other half of the clutch that i lost. well thats a sad ending but the other 9 babies seem healthy. no kinked back and all seem active. a few of them are striking wen i check on them but now i can conentrate on these survivers and make sure they have the best start
