Posted - 25/04/2012 : 17:41:21 Hi everyone, I've caught the corn fever! So, recently got a snow corn male hoping to mate him with my amel female nxt year. Was told at the shop that he probably wouldn't mate her this year as neither of them had been in brumation so I put him in with her. Within 10 mins he was chasing her around the viv and tied! So, now we're preparing for a clutch of eggs. My main question is how much more should I be feeding her right now? |

Posted - 25/04/2012 : 18:16:57 the rule of 3 applies to females, so 3 years old, 3 ft long and 300+ grams are the min, an your female is above these so you should be fine, just feed her up. x |

Posted - 25/04/2012 : 18:15:44 I would say that 300-350 is on the small size for the female my female was 550g before she had 3 locks with my male now she is pushing 600g they loose a lot of weight and use a lot of energy. Also when my snakes where warmed up I am feeding her and large mouse every 5 days. My males are 10 day and others are every 7 days Feeding |
