how often should i be checking for eggs?
everywhere tells you to get the eggs into an incubator asap
but everywhere also tells you not to disturb her while she's about to lay/laying.

how often should i check?
how long are the eggs going to be okay out of an incubator?

GRRRRR!!!
after being in there since 2 this afternoon, she has just came out for a stroll. aka-circle the tank for the remainder of the night!
and it was so hard not to have a look lol turns out it wouldn't have mattered if i did!

I'd have a look once before bed, and then once in the morning if she hasn't laid.

I know it's annoying, but you must try and leave her alone as much as possible

Good luck!

Around the time the snake is due to lay I check once in the morning, and once at night, regardless of whether or not I see anything.

If I check at, say, 7am and there are 4 eggs already laid, then I will check again when back from work (around 6pm) when normally they are all laid.

It is important not to stress the female whilst she is laying as they can sometimes then hang onto eggs. Eggs will be fine for a good few hours after laying, provided they have been laid in a correctly set up egg box. I have my egg boxes filled with damp moss and put over the heat mat, so the eggs are humid and warm anyway.
