as in the question has anyone else had their female try to hibernate herself?

it just that all she does is stays at her cold hide all day and night and then when i look she's spread the chippings onto the side of the hide so that she is laying wood.

because of the cold weather and the fact the snakes are in the loft, could it be possible the she is trying to hibernate herself for the breeding season?

i did breed her last year and plan to do it this year but if she does hibernate herself she'll miss it wint she??

thanks.

Some do that, a lot of mine shut themselves down over winter. I just let them get on with it and cool them when they are ready.

What are your temps in the warm and cold end?

She might just fancy the cold, I have a corn that spends all his time on the cold side, digesting or not, he just prefers it :)
