Posted - 31/07/2011 : 12:44:00 hi the bigger snake tried mating with the younger snake who isntt ready yet and she ( or at least think younger 1 is a she) knocked him back and then she turned all nymhy on the older snake now im confused to which 1 is the male or female when the younger 1 turned nymhy the older one gave her abit of a knock to say no but it wasnt hard . |

Im not 100% clued up on the breeding of snakes yet though so someone else who has done so will give you a more definate answer. I would maybe suggest that you handle them/take them out one at a time to avoid something like this happening in the future?

Posted - 31/07/2011 : 12:45:56 Are the co-habiting? If so and if she is not ready yet to mate why co-habit them? Its only natural the male is gonna try if theres a female in there reguardless of her age/weight etc. |
