Posted - 02/07/2011 : 19:03:53 Omg! It's happening! My first ever clutch of eggs started to hatch (thanks again to Kehhlyr for notifying me). I have a cam set up in the incubator, so it's possible to watch them as they hatch:

The parents are miami and carolina, and I have no clue if they're het for anything as it's their very first clutch, so... we'll see what happens :D |

Posted - 10/08/2011 : 15:18:08 <nods> In the end, I gave one to a friend, one went to another person, and 8 went to the same person who has quite a collection of creepy crawlers already (snakes, scorpions, spiders). So I'm ocnfident that they will be well looked after :) |

Posted - 10/08/2011 : 12:18:31 Well, managed to sell all (except the one I'm keeping, pinky 1). They all went to new owners this morning... gotta admit I'm kinda sad about it. I'll miss those cute hatchies... even the biters.
Also, another picture I just had to share with you:

Had them together for a moment cause I was cleaning out all the boxes... and they just looked so cute together <3 |

Posted - 18/07/2011 : 20:46:55 Shouldn't be too hard since I'm giving them away for free rather than selling them :p. |

Posted - 12/07/2011 : 14:49:42 They are all fantastic, hope you find homes easily! |

Posted - 12/07/2011 : 12:18:25 Thanks! Here's something I found interesting - I marked the eggs according to when they first started pipping (number + first date&time) and when they left the egg completely (second date&time):

Quite funny how there is such a clear order :)

Posted - 10/07/2011 : 19:41:59 I think the feisty ones got some of their dad's genes for behaviour. He's a grumpy guy as well... |

Posted - 10/07/2011 : 08:57:04 Morning Isoldael I watched live last night but missed 1 - 4 so will catch up with them later. Well done, you did brilliantly and congratulations on all the babies they are gorgeous even the little nippers. I missed number one finally hatch as it said you were offline but on the upside the fridge freezer finally arrived. Can't wait for the first feeds. Catch up with you and the little ones later. |

Posted - 09/07/2011 : 21:51:28 Actually showed all the hatchlings on the stream. It can be watched by clicking the stream link and browsing the recorded videos at the bottom :). It should be split across 2 videos each with a name similar to "showing hatchlings soon". Just in case anyone feels like watching. Hope no one will mind the mess / my accent / me not knowing what to talk about, haha. |

Posted - 07/07/2011 : 02:04:54 It would be cool to see something so tiny having a go! and i got to see PinkyIII come out, even though as the back end came out, the front dissapeared of cam! |

Posted - 07/07/2011 : 01:18:17 Film what? Him striking at me? I could try that, I guess.... although it's gonna be hard holding it + filming at the same time (it's a fast one, too!). |

Posted - 06/07/2011 : 22:02:32 That really sounds cute, could you maybe film it? at least i saw one come out last night, missed the other two, waiting on this one just now, i named last pink one Bubbles, as that was all it did was blow bubbles, think it was number 6 i called Bopper, cuz of all the head bopping! |

Posted - 06/07/2011 : 10:31:17 Number 5 is a strange little snake... It will always strike at your thumbs, even though its not afraid of any other finger. It will be happily gliding through your hands, but as soon as your thumb gets in sight (even when its not moving) WHAM! |

Posted - 06/07/2011 : 01:39:23 Gonna measure them later, but they should be somewhere between 20-30 cm |
