i just reintroduced my male to my female tank for around the 4th time and she latched on to him. i managed to get him free and give him a bit of a soak in warm water. just wandering why she would bite him. she was fed a large mouse on monday so i would not think she was hungry.
any help would be much apreciated :)

they have mated before in previous years and have been fine together previously. I am not going to reintroduce him again for sure

i would say she's not receptive to him..........if you've you already paired them previously could she already be gravid?
