I know the feeling, at first my pair weren't bothered, so I left them together in the viv for a couple of days and I soon caught them in action;)

I find that playing Barry White loudly on my speakers helps..

I always put mine together for about half an hour, if nothing has happened then I separate them again and try 1 or 2 days later. I had a pair together yesterday and the male was the same as yours, put them together again tonight and there was no stopping him
Patience also helps

just leave them to it............you can't make them do it

any help on how to get them to lock would be greately appreciated thinking about leaving them in a tank with plane paper on the floor to check for signs of breeding

what do you think anyone?
