I hate to get graphic, but I have a question regards the actual mating process...
I have a breeding pair who are currently courting, however both times I have put the two together, the male has "blown his load" before actually locking, the filthy guy.
Anyway, after this, he has successfully locked and remained there for 20 mins or so. Do you think insemination has been successful? Or do you think I should keep putting them together until he locks PRIOR to... for lack of a better word... getting too excited?
Thanks

Posted - 27/02/2011 : 22:02:03 if they've been locked together for 20 minutes then chances are good. I'd put them together again in a few days time though just to be 100% certain.
