My female amel (unknown hets) shed Wednesday night, so I put my male normal (unknown hets) with her and they just sniffed each other, looking fairly disinterested - both were brumated over the winter.

I came back into the room 10 minutes later and they were locked!

They have been separated yesterday to give them some R & R and fed the female, as the male is not interested.

Probably put them back together on Sunday evening. Does that sound okay?

Simon
