Posted - 21/09/2010 : 03:55:15 I am so excited. Today is day 56 of my Corn eggs' incubation. I went to check on them a few minutes ago and found this!
Looks like it could possibly be an Amel, though it could also be another Snow. I'm so happy, I can't wait for the others to start pipping. I'll post more pictures as we go along. |

Posted - 22/09/2010 : 17:25:07 Ha ha ha! When I read your post, Mystra, the song "Get This Party Started" by Pink popped into my head. For those of you who don't know the song, the beginning lyrics are:
"I'm coming out, so you'd better get this party started!"
lol!
Edit That's ok, Rachie. I live in the States anyway. |

Posted - 22/09/2010 : 01:40:12 Awww, I wish I lived closer to you guys, I'd hook you up. They are all five out now and I couldn't be more ecstatic. 2 amels, 2 anerys and a beautiful little normal who is the sweetest thing EVAR. When I went to pick it up, it curled up right in my hand, wrapped it's little tail around my finger and then refused to let me put it down. I may end up keeping that one, simply because I love the personality. Here are some pics of the gang so far. I'm still waiting on the other eggs to pip, though I'm sure it will be more of these cute little devils.
Amelanistic #1, curious, but flighty.
Amelanistic #2, fiesty and snap happy.
Anerythristic #1, calm but "no touchy!"
Anerythristic #2, confused and explorative.
Egg tooth!!!
Normal #1, gentle and clingy.
More pics to come as more hatch! |

Posted - 21/09/2010 : 23:08:30 Thanks so much, everyone! No one has fully hatched yet, but I promise to get lots of pics when they do. Rachie, if I were in the UK and closer...I'd let you have one. |
