Posted - 02/11/2010 : 22:59:33 Morphguide.com is a brand new site which is aiming to be a one stop resource for information and photos of every single reptile morph. It is an ambitious project that will need lots of help from you - the reptile keepers.
New species will be added each week so keep checking back to see if yours has been added. If it has been listed and you have a morph not currently in the database, please Contact us to request its addition. If you do request a new morph to be added, it would help lots if you could include a link to your photos you would like adding along with your name for the photo credit.
We also have our very own forum on Ians Vivarium that you can also use to upload your photos to.
If your morph is already listed and you would like to contribute all you need to do is start uploading to the relevent morph gallery. |

Posted - 03/11/2010 : 18:37:52 smaller thumbnails is definetly something to think about - the front page is the only pic that isn't clickable to enlarge but I might change that :)
i'll also get a links page up soon too and get some of my favourite sites listed ;) |

Posted - 03/11/2010 : 17:26:23 Small suggestion; Dunno if it'd be possible to change how it draws the images on the main page. Each image seems to be around the 800x600 mark, scaled to 400x300 and between 600 and 900kb. Although it's only a second or so loading time, for an image that isn't clickable for larger it seems to be a massive waste of bandwidth. Surely it'd be possible to keep the image size and quality and still get it down to around the 100kb mark. |
