Hi!! I was wondering , will corn snakes act dead in order to lure in pray??? megxxx

Given what hunting machines snakes are I cant see one acting dead when a prey item was around although the bushmaster apparently will find a rat run and sit beside it for months until the rat comes by. By doing that and staying still for so long it expends less energy and therefore requires less nourishment and as a result less food (found that out on discovery lol)
