Posted - 02/06/2010 : 07:25:52 i noticed yesterday that my sister & my cousins corns both lay under the substrate with their heads sticking out its sort of looks like there sunbathing just wondering why they do it as i havent ever noticed kellogs doing it as well xxxxx |

Posted - 02/06/2010 : 11:42:50 I think it just depends on the corn and what it prefers Holly. One thing that you, your sister and your cousin could do with doing is double checking temps in the viv....cos it may be that the snakes are hiding under the substrate to get cool/warm or something like that....or may be that their vivs are a bit bare and they feel safer hidden. All different reasons....but at the end of the day I think it is down to different snakes liking different things at different times.

Posted - 02/06/2010 : 10:31:15 when we first got monty that was all he ever did. hide under the substrate, now, he prefers to be in his warm hide all the time, somtimes going to his cold hide. hes in shed now so is hiding away in his hot hide |
