Is it possible for a growing corn snake to be fat?

I appreciate that photos may be required, and i can get some done this weekend, but Stella doesnt look fat.

She is roughly 26" long and weighs 100g.

I have seen alot of corns on here around the 2' mark only weighing 40g-50g.

Does this mean she is fat? Or is she just going to be a big snake?

She is thick, but doesnt look out of proportion.

Thanks

Gaz

Just means shes healthy and growing well mate, she may end being larger than average, but only time will tell.

Okay cheers to both.

Is being heavier than average an indication that she may be a bigger adult? Or do things usually level out?

Yup, if she is fat then she will roll around, so to speak. You can have a fat growing corn, purely by eating more than it can use to grow, same as you and me really, and kids. I wouldnt worry though, 100g isnt overweight at all.

I will quote eeji from the same thread.
"It all depends on the snakes general build, you can get chunky muscly corns that aren't fat, or slender less well built corns that are still in top condition."
You'll notice when she is overweight..!

Thanks for the reply.

I certainly wouldnt say she was round at all like that image shows.

I have looked around the forum though and alot of corns at 12 months of age only seem to be 30g-50g ish. So she is almost double.

If she isnt overweight then is this an indicator that she will be big when fully grown? Or cant you tell by this?

Thanks
