My snake was fed last Friday by his previous owner, I got him Monday. although he is a very active snake and allows me to put my hand into his viv where he comes to me and investigates my hand calmly, I have noticed tonight that he seems to be looking for something and when I put my hand in tonight he flew towards my hand but stopped when he relised what it was. Do you think he is hungrey and there for hunting for food? if so would I be better waiting to feed him on Friday as normal or should I feed him tomorrow?

Its best to leave him alone for a week from when you got him, so from now i would leave him no feeding or handling for a week.

As mike has said it won't do him no harm, just make him a little more enthusiastic for his feed.

Best to leave for the week and feed him when the week is over, it wont hurt him, he just maybe a little more enthusiastic!
