Posted - 12/04/2010 : 10:38:26 Hi i was in a bit of a dilemma yesterday and kind of had my thoughts confirmed by DannyBrown so i'm going to buy a large Faunaroium - but my question is when to move her? Do i just get it over with now? and then do another 1 week wait or the 1 week wait is up on thursday so do i get her out to feed and put her back in the new faun? or do i wait until we have had 1 successful feed and a little bit of handling so 2 weeks ish or longer? All thoughts gratefully recieved
This is the link to my original question about what size to move her upto?

Posted - 12/04/2010 : 11:34:51 I would keep her in that for 1 - 2 weeks, give her a couple of feeds and then when you move her over to either a large faun or a RUB you could also transfer some substrate over so although she will be in a new bigger home she will still have her smell around her. |

Posted - 12/04/2010 : 10:45:18 If I were you, I'd wait the week first - otherwise she meet be overly stressed-out, and unnecessarily. The faun she's in now is only a bit small for her, and they're happier to be in a smaller than likely viv than one that's too big and will stress her out
What day are you supposed to feed her on? If the faun isn't too big for her at the moment, I'd wait a couple of weeks, maybe three to get her settled in and used to you before you do any moving, or you might hinder her progress Good luck! |
