The viv is finished and Murray has moved in but every time someone steps near the viv the glass rattles!! not only is it annoying but i think it is scaring him a bit as he isnt as active as normal! any ideas? i am after something rather discreet if there is such a thing. It is the glass on the rear runner rattling btw. Thanks

Is the glass thickness really small compared to the runners?

A rubber wedge should sort it out you may even find a viv lock will do the trick. I would be very careful about using any form of tape in a viv as if the snake comes into contact with it and gets stuck it can cause some pretty horrific injurys. You may find the reason your snake is in hiding is probably because you have put him in a new viv not because of the glass although it probably isnt helping.

Cheers

rubber wedge, or maybe a couple layers of sellotape on the edge
