Had a bit of a panic the other day. Had Alice out on a towel on the sofa as it was the first time he had been out since feeding and I knew he would be ready for a poo. As predicted he let rip with a corker that overshot the towel, kitchen paper and half ended up on the floor. Anyway, as I was busy cleaning up Alice made a bid for escape up the other end of the sofa. He found a stray shin pad belonging to one of the boys under a cushion before I could catch hold of him. I picked him up not realising a bit of the velcro on the shin pad had got caught on him. As it came off it seemed to lift one of his scales. Thankfully, I have checked him over a few times now and there seems to be no lasting damage. In fact I can't even see where it got stuck.

So my moral of the day is make sure inquisative snakies cannot find anything with velcro on.
