i made a hide yesterday for ssid as was clearing the garage the other day i found i had left from a job i did some animal and fish safe pond crete. so i had some polystyrene heated a knife and cut the poly to a shape that suited and then covered with cling film,i then mixed the pond crete and added some child safe acrillic paint for colour once mixed i put 3 coats of pond crete over the poly shape once i had desired size i covered againg with cling film and left to dry 20 mins dry time i then uncovered the hide and left to harden for a further 24 hours this morning i checked for and cracks etc all seemed good i then sealed scentless pva child safe and left to dry which is doing right now i will post pics of the finnished product as normal got to caught up in things forgot to take photos of the process will be making another soon will take photos of process of that one

Sorry to be off topic but it says his name is Paul in his profile o.O;

I wish I could make my snakey's something though, I bet Venom would accidentaly crush it somehow.

If you do a step-by-step photo diary of your next creation we'll put it up in the d.i.y section.

Pics throughout would be good as well, although I'm unsure about how safe PVA would be.

PVA is a water based glue, so if it gets damp/wet they can revert to something similar to when it came out of the pot.
You might end up having to use a clear varnish or similar.
