When is the best time (i.e cheapest) to but corn hatchlings? I am after 2 or 3 but willing to be patient. When will the most be available for sale? Hopefully then they will be cheaper.

I live in West Cornwall so I don't have a large amount of snakes available to me down here!

As Hannah says, the shows are the best time to find good value for money. Sometimes you will find a normally expensive snake for little money, I.e a plasma, usually quite expensive, so you have to ask why!
If you do your research you will see what the average price for the snake you want is, prices recently have dropped a lot, and people aren't willing to pay the going price, so you can find a lot of snakes about.

if you can get to a show then thats where there will be a large selection and at cheap prices, portsmouth has a show which is probably a lot closer to you than Doncaster which is where the biggest show happens

Well there are snakes out there now. It is possible for breeding to be done throughout the year but from my limited breeding experience they are normally brumated until the end February and then feeded up heavier than other times of the year; as they are in brumation they don't eat. After the feeding (around end March) the males will shed and once the females shed around the same time or a little later the females gets introduced to the males viv and the lovin' commences!

Eggs will lay around end of May or June. Hatchlings will be born in Late July or August. Then its down to the breeder or the shops' policy when they decide to sell. A good shop will wait until they have had a few feeds and at least one shed (not the "birth shed" a few days after birth) so you'll be looking at around end September- October time before they should be sold.

As said snakes will be more widely available then and more morph choices, however you may not want to wait that long. Try preloved.co.uk as there are a lot of breeders selling on there; not necessarily having a shop or website- there are more out there than you think; even in Cornwall!

EDIT: Although we all like a good deal, the cheapest aren't always the best to buy from. I would always pay a fair value for them. If they are going cheap it usually means the seller wants rid quick either because they can't house them all properly and it suggests they don't value their stock because they haven't expensed much for the proper euipment themselves while they have them and they are likely not to put as much care into their needs.
