Posted - 06/02/2010 : 22:15:21 you could use a 17 x 11 heatmat.. if you put it an inch or two away from the edges it will do just as good a job as a bigger one - ive got a slightly smaller one in Little One's viv as they didnt have a bigger one in the shop but i havent bothered to change it as its fine atm the way it is |

This will go on the floor in your viv, you may need to drill a hole in the back of your viv for the wire to go through, and may need to remove the plug from the heat mat, although some vivs do come with a gap for your wires to go through. |

Posted - 06/02/2010 : 16:09:28 The heat mat NEEDS to go in the viv. As for the heatmat it is more about the size than the wottage. What size is your viv? you need the heat mat to cover atleast 1/3 of the total floor space. |

Posted - 06/02/2010 : 15:41:44 ive drilled a hole in the back of the viv and the wire goes through there which is leading to the heat mat which is inside the viv. As for the wattage, im not to sure but someone who does will come along shortly |
