Corns are semi-arboreal, so no, its not unusual.

I have a plastic bush like thing in Snickers' viv. When she was younger she would curl up in the center of this bush thing. She is too heavy for it now and falls through when she tries, but I guess they find something they particularly like and stick with it. Snickers doesn't like her tree shaped wood, so I just lay it down as part of the decor now. She would crawl over it to get to another hide.

sounds fine to me, i wouldnt worry about it. I used to worry that mine hid away too much after some people saying that there snakes are always out and about in the open, and mine is always in one of his hides...but ive learnt they're all individuals!

Yeah all snakes are different, your snake just obviously feels safe in his tree!!

I suppose there is nothing abnormal about it. Lately both of mine seem to just stay in their hides all the time. Casper still comes out for a bit of a night but my new blood red only seems to come out to whitch hides.
