Posted - 25/01/2010 : 09:02:37 I was looking at stuff for my new viv yesterday for Stella.
She is about 20" Long now and i was wondering what hides will be best for her when shes in the 3' viv.
She will be about 24" by the time i move her up.
Shes in the Exo-Terra Small hides now.
I was thinking about a Medium for the cold end and the large for the hot end.
The large seem flatter and wider, the medium are more cave like so i thought one of each would be good.
Im also going to have alot of plants and vines in there for cover.
Thanks

Posted - 25/01/2010 : 14:39:48 Casper has and exo terra cave hide and a snake cave, but new snake (still not got a name) has a Exo terra cave hide which comes with the starter kit, and about 1/4 of a pringles tub :) I even used a nasty flavour so when i look in his tank i don't want pringles. |

Posted - 25/01/2010 : 10:45:49 oh mines in october..poor snakes are getting home made as i want a party - not really had birthday parties with my family so this year im going to have one! the poor snakes are getting home made just because their hides get pooped in and its so much easier just to throw em away and give them new ones that are different shapes each time than keep cleaning them..plus they dont really use thier exo terra ones much! |

Posted - 25/01/2010 : 10:31:38 Haha, fair enough.
If i had a few corns then they would be getting home made hides too, lol.
Stella is going to be spoilt though as its my 21st next month so shes getting my birthday money spent on her, lol.
Thanks

Posted - 25/01/2010 : 10:10:51 sounds ok to me.. you could put slight bit more aspen under the larger hide so that she feels a bit cosier in there
mine are just going to get cardboard boxes and home made hides lmao! |
