Im not asking how to find out about the sex of the snake. Im asking which sex you find better or more easier to manage. What are pros and cons about the different sexes and also are there any wierd things they do when they get older or go in heat.

One other difference to point out is that males can go through 'horny' phases once they reach a certain age...which causes them to go off their food for a bit.

I only discovered this when I got Kellog and he went straight into 'horny' mode....and didnt feed for 13 weeks, which for a newbie was terrifying!! But luckily I discovered this forum and they explained to me what was going on. They also kept me sane whilst I drove them crazy !

It was hard to get through but once I knew what was going on I knew I just had to wait it out and when he did finally strike and eat (totally making me jump out of my skin and shocking me and making me feel the most excitement I have felt for years!!) then the wait was over and he has been lovely ever since.

There is little, if any differance really. Some males wont eat during breeding season.

Ditto this. I only got my third corn yesterday, but i have a male and a female already and there is very little difference temperament wise etc.

I've only had a female so far, amazing temperament though.
