Has anyone got a Viv Exotic Vivarium?

I asked about the 888 ones a while back and a few people suggested Viv Exotics.

These seem really cheap compared to others; the one I was going to get was £105 from my local reptile shop.

What do people think of this one?

Are they well made and do they look good?

Thanks

Gaz

Sounds great! We'll definately look into them when we need a stack or two!

Homes4reptiles where excellent for me, I bought my 3 stack it came very quick and was packaged very nice, all the correct equipment was there and was very easy to set up, as I stated above they were not able to stock my lx36 3 stack so they instantly emailed me with a quote and gave me three good options, 1. free upgrade to VX36 3 stack beech, 2. walnut beech lx36 with £10.00, 3. or wait until lx36 3 stack beech was in stock like 15 days later. For me I picked option 1 and I was a very happy customer and know my reptiles get much more space. I would definatly reccomend them from the service I got!

Hi Gaz,
I've just bought this exact same viv, managed to put it all together myself. I also ordered these:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vivarium-Self-Adhesive-Glass-Sliding-Door-Handles-Clear_W0QQitemZ130357580958QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Pet_Supplies_Reptiles_Spiders_Insects?hash=item1e59ead49e

And I also ordered some of the aquarium sealant to make the bottom of the viv watertight.

i found that homes4reptiles is cheaper. for an lx vivarium they charge 55 and they are vivexotic. don't know if anyone has used them but thats were im getting all my vivs from when i need them.
Blackecho Posted - 21/01/2010 : 18:48:58
Yes, I have viv locks on, otherwise I'd probably find my 3 year old in there with them!

This is the guy on ebay I've bought all mine through, good prices and never had any issues with him:

I have 7 Vivexotics, love them and no, I have never had to block a gap off, they are quite tight fitting doors.

I get mine from ebay.
SexyBear77 Posted - 21/01/2010 : 13:23:28
My viv doesn't have a gap between the doors, but saying that my other 2 dont either.

Also, none of mine have locks.
Gaz_1989 Posted - 21/01/2010 : 13:19:01
Thanks people.

For those who have got Viv Exotic's...

Is there a gap between the glass doors? I have noticed that some of them have got a gap which has to be blocked off with cardboard etc to prevent snakey escaping?

And do the standard door locks fit on them okay?

Thanks

Gaz

Nice looking Vivs and I am sure they would look great when set up.
I have used 888 to buy from and they are a friendly bunch who will spend time with you to talk about the care of your reptile and not just after a quick sale. Also free delivery over £45.00 if I remember correctly.
SexyBear77 Posted - 21/01/2010 : 12:23:41
I have a viv exotic, and its really lovely, easy assembly and a good amount of floor space. I don't get my stuff from 888 though, so couldnt tell you what they are like.

Looks like the viv I've got aswell, though never got from 888. Only problem I found was the glass never had handles for sliding open and shut. Bit oh glue and few wee handles from the local shop for a fiver and it is sorted. Nice viv cant complain.
Gaz_1989 Posted - 21/01/2010 : 11:05:30
Awesome.

They look great for the money.

Thanks alot.

I recently purchased 3 of these vivexotic viv's, very happy with them easy to put together and also have solid backs with cable cutouts so no messing about making hole's ect.
