which thermostat would be best , to use for a heat mat and a ceramic bulb or other heat bulb.

Thats what i bought and it can be used for heatmatts and ceramic bulbs.

I would go with the Microclimate 600 Watt pulse day/night so that if you go down the ceramic route you have it covered and some wattage left over in the future for keeping more snakes.

You need a pulse stat if its for a mat and a bulb, the first to of them where dimmer stats and wouldnt work on a mat. Not so sure about the 3rd one.

I believe you would also need a 300 watt one.

Not looked at the links but mat/temp stats for mats, pulse stats for mats and ceramics, dimmers for ceramics and glass bulbs.

Pay attention to minimum wattage.
