Thank you all so much for your support because my snakie was not eating. I was at a last resort last night when I put a defrosted pinkie under a hide in his cage. But when I woke up this morning, the pinkie was gon and snakie had a big bulge in the middle of his body! Now I know he will be okay! |

Sara...that is such good news and must be a real relief for you. It is just a case of keeping calm and persevering, which is what you have done. I know reptiledanny has been a bit negative, but try and remain positive and assume he will feed again. If he doesnt you just continue as you have and he will feed again. I know what it is like to have a non-feeder and how excited and relieved I was when he fed, so I can just imagine how you felt when you saw that pinkie gone. Remember, no handling now for 48hrs to allow time for dinner to digest!

well done snakey, and you, i don't mean to bring your spirits down at all, but don't get your hopes up too much just incase next week he doesn't feed. lets hope it's 1 step forward and a load more not 1 step forward 2 steps back. sorry to be a spoil sport.  .  |
