Posted - 28/11/2009 : 14:54:23 Just finished my new rack , did'nt know wether to put this in corn pics seeing as it's photo's or here , settled for here :)its 6' high 4' wide and 19" deep , absolutely solid and very heavy . All the shelves are adjustable and each has a 47" x 6" heat strip , there are 6 not counting the very top . I've adjusted it for different sized rubs , does'nt look to bad , taped down all the mats with that silver tape , forget the name , just had a brain hiccup , it's like £25 a roll . For now have 1 stat running for both mats . I need more snakes then I can set the rest up :P
Here's the pics
And with some rubs
Now ...... I need more corns |

They're called heat strips. Very nice job, where did you get the racking from?
Yeah I put heat strips in my op , but did'nt want to confuse the fella so just went with mats . I got the whole lot from my local rep shop in South shields , did me a good price on the lot . |

Heat mats were used , like you say , you can see them :)that is all thats used to heat them , yeah .
They are'nt really small , the heat mats are 4 foot long and 6 inches wide , so pretty large .
You can buy them from most reptile shops , even ebay , I got my first from ebay , seemed to be the best price , but I got a real good deal on everything you see in the pic :) |

OK, I'm sat in the computer room alongside my husband and just showed him the setup. For the first time ever in 15 years of marriage it seemed he could read my mind as he saw me eying up the back wall and said - "You can get that thought right out of your head. We're not having a snake stack!!"
