Posted - 25/11/2009 : 00:07:09 A strange question, but an even stranger sight, has anyone else ever found spherical poo in their viv?
I was spot cleaning Monty's viv and found some poo, the white part of which was spherical and looked for all intents and purposes like a murray mint. It definitely wasn't a mint (and no I didn't taste it!) but its the first time in ten years that I've ever found that.
There's been no changes in his viv and no changes in his behavious so I'm more curious than worried.
Thanks

Give it to phil, he'll 'analyse' it for you.
Whats the difference between a defrosted dead mouse and dried snakey poo?
both HIGHLY nutrious.
Could just be my brain fog but shouldnt it be 'Whats the similarity' rather than 'Whats the difference'....either that or I dont get the joke!!

I would of thought that it would fall apart easier and be a little gritty like a trebor extra strong mint! |

I have not and will not lick snake poo.
It does feel weird if you rub the urates between your fingers though, kind've like wet sand. |

Posted - 25/11/2009 : 16:29:56 sometimes spaghetti produces little balls of white, not perfectly sperical, but balls all the same! The go to powder as soon as they're touched, I was dead worried the first time I saw it, but it just turns out it's compacted bone. Perhaps your snake is very good at squeezing and rolling! a proper skill!

Posted - 25/11/2009 : 01:45:13 I have had some almost perfect little urate balls from my King Snake, nothing quite so uniform from any of my other snakes though.
And shame on you for not tasting to see if it was a mint! |
