As some of you may know, I decided to get a corn on sunday and will be picking it up on saturday.
They guy in the reptile centre quoted me for a Faunarium with Heatmat, i think the heat mat was £17.99, is this likely to come with a thermostat? He didnt mention this, but after reading some threads on here it sounds like a stat is essential?

Yeah at that price i would say it definetly doesnt include a stat! You do need one though lol! |

probably not, i just paid £30 for a new one but in the past have paid around £25,
they are essential though so definately worth buying  |

For that price I definately wouldn't expect a stat to be included. As Sexybear said, around £20-25 for a decent one. A 100W on/off type will be fine. Habistat Matstat's are ideal for use with the heatmat. |

A stat is an essential piece of kit, and at that price I shouldnt think it comes with one. Average price is £20-£25 for a good stat. |
