Posted - 03/11/2009 : 21:40:22 it was no more than £30-£40 then add the cost of the equipment to go in it. It was heated with a 17 x 11 mat on each shelf running through a pair of stats.
The new one will use 2x 12 metre heat cables (when they eventually get delivered!) with aluminium tape to help spread the heat |

Posted - 02/11/2009 : 22:31:38 my first home made rack was really cheap - 2 sheets of 8x4 mdf cut at B&Q and screwed together at home - room for 9x 50l RUBs and one on top.
My new one is made from conti board and can hold 30 RUBs and cost a lot more :) |
