Posted - 15/10/2009 : 03:14:15 I must admit that I keep a record of Kellog's date of pooing in his diary, so I can make sure everything is happening normally. xxx |

Posted - 14/10/2009 : 21:27:04 Yes its the vent, its just above the start of the tail. They will often go very very still and raise their tail.
If your worried about how often your snake is having a poo or if you think they are overdue you can give them a warm bath and a gentle rub while handling that usually sets them off |

Posted - 13/10/2009 : 20:41:51 If you have them out they go very still. Then their tail goes up at a strange angle and their vent appears - that happens you grab the kitchen roll, and beware cos it can squirt quite a distance! xxx |

Posted - 13/10/2009 : 12:44:49 Kizzy saves hers all up and has a big poo about 3-4 days after her feed, while Ziggy does a few small ones over the course of a few days, usually starting the second day after feeding. |

What are the signs, please?

Posted - 12/10/2009 : 21:44:07 Yep, two days after a feed and a little one another day or two later. He likes to do it when he's out (managed to catch tonight's on a towel rather than on hubby's side of the bed this time. |
