hi just wanted to ask if anyone has ever tryed to run 2 mats of a mate stat???or can it not be done??

we got 4 mats on 1 stat saves on buying new stats some of them can be expensive |

lol i talked the wife around to getting a 2nd one i dont think she will let me have anymore. i was thinking about getting an adult but she was not to happy with that so its a new baby for us. the kids cant wait. |

cool i will try that but i will only need 2 mats working of one stat as i am hoping to pick up my 2nd snake this weekend... |

i removed the single socket from the stat and rewired it with a 6 way robbed from an extension lead :)
for the extra one I had 2 mats wired to one plug - thats a bit dodgy so its only 6 mats and not 7 (i forgot about moving one of the mats  )
they are 21w mats on 600w pulse stats |

You can do, aslong as the wattage doesnt exceed what the stat can handle. If you are using the two mats on differant setups, you will have to make sure they are identicle to make sure temps in both setups are the same. |
