Posted - 23/09/2009 : 12:56:06 We think Kizzy may be coming into shed, but we still offered her a meal last night and she quite happily obliged . We wouldn't have been worried if she didn't want to eat it though. |

Someone else said similar about 15 months ago, it was;
"Imagine wearing a pair of trousers that's 2 sizes to small, and an incredibly tight jumper with a blindfold. Would you feel like eating???"
But it sums it up brilliantly. Although some snakes will still eat, but at the end of the day most will wait for a couple/few more days before eating. |

Posted - 22/09/2009 : 22:43:28 i agree with eeji - it's down to the snake
my adult males i'll happily let skip a feed while they're in blue but my females/juvies i always offer a feed to then it's down to them |

Posted - 22/09/2009 : 22:12:16 some will eat, some won't, so for the first few sheds with you i'd personally offer food. over time, you'll get to know which snakes to feed and which snakes to leave alone while shedding :) |

Posted - 22/09/2009 : 18:12:36 i usually offer but if they dont eat its not the end of the world, but iv learnt with mont not to offer as he doesnt eat.. when i definately work out whether the newbies will eat or not when in shed then il act accordingly.. i think they will be like mont though |
