totally agree with Brookie

i would add that price can also vary widely if you're buying from a breeder/hobbyist or a shop

hi just wanted to know is it worth buying a adult corn and what should i look out for if i was to buy one.
adult corns are generally a lot calmer than hatchling plus tend to be better feeders and they're colours are much more developed
what should i be asking the owner when looking at snakes.
should come with documents stating how often it sheds, is it a good feeder, what its eating, what temp it eats most productivly at, age, sex, morph, whether its bred and if so how many times... things like that
also what sort of price should i be lookng at paying??
totally depends on morph but will be more expensive than a hatchling because money has been spent on feeding, housing, equipment etc. so will charge a little more for the money they spent but worth it normally
thanks

depends really i seen adults go for anything beetween 50 to 100 pounds...Always ask for feeding and health records and check the snake over......look at his eyes , nose and tail check the vent is clear also look for mites on the scales and check out the viv see if its clean..Also ask the reason why it is being sold

No idea about price Bilbo, but we bought an adult as a 1st time snake which I feel was a great idea. He was a proven feeder and shedder with no handling problems. Hopefully any adult you buy should have some sort of 'diary' that will list its feeding pattern, shedding pattern, weight, health problems etc. We managed to buy ours from a lovely lady who needed to get rid of him as she was pregnant again and didnt feel she could cope with 3 kids and the snake, so he came from a good home. Think we got him and the viv for just over £100, but not totally sure (brain fog moment). xxx
