Posted - 10/09/2009 : 12:35:34 We picked up Candycane last Sunday so she's still in her settling in period. She was in shed when we got her and she shed last night. It wasn't too bad but came off in three or four pieces. The tail is intact along with the majority of the body and I've found a piece of head skin with eye caps on but I'm not convinced I've found it all (and there are a few holes in the main bit of skin from her body)
Am I best to disturb her even though she's still settling in and give her a good once over or, as the most important bits are off, should I leave her till Sunday once she's had her full week of settling in.
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks a lot |

Posted - 11/09/2009 : 12:47:18 Got her out last night and gave her a good once over - all looks to be fine!
Unfortunately, did a silly thing and forgot to have my camera to hand so no piccies I'm afraid. Didn't want to keep her out too long whilst I hunted high and low for it so will take some at the weekend and post then! She is absolutely beautiful though! One very happy Greenleaf family |

Posted - 10/09/2009 : 13:42:09 i had this problem with edison..i got him on sunday and on tuesday he shed but the tail end wasnt there - but there were some loose little bits on the end of his tail..cause of where it was i didnt want to risk him getting damaged so i had to get him out and give him a warm bath i think if you just pick her up and give her a check and maybe a bath and then put her back she should be fine |
