hi im new 2 snakes
it says in books that cornsnakes are quite active
mine seems 2 wana sleep all day and nite
i handle it everyday,
just cing if any1 knows y he mite be so lazy.
he is bout 18 month old ive been told.

A big corn can get to that size as well, just skinnier than a boa.
Several of us on here have big corns, one of mine is somewhere in the range of 5ft.

i used 2 b so scared ov snakes till my gf got 1 then i had 2 get 1 so got a corn snake
then i held it everyday n got used 2 him
so i went and got a boa now aswell lol
big jump as me boa is bout 5 n half ft lol

Doesn't sound unusual, they can be really lazy at times. Normally when you're awake and looking at them.

What's your general husbandry like???

i.e
Roughly how long is the snake?
Viv size?
Temps? (both warm and cool end)
What is the substrate?
Substrate depth?
What hides do you have, and where?
