hii , my corn , tobasco keeps missing his mouse when strike feeding . He is eating 2 pinkies every tuesday . Why is he missing it , and should i be worried?

They strike at heat too, so give it a nice warm to get the scent going.

he could be in shed, which causes the eyes t go cloudy, and can affect vision. also, if you are getting him to strike feed, is there a possibility that the prey item is being moved about too much for him to get a good shot? maybe just move the pinkie around on the floor, rather than dangling it, if this is what you are doing.

missing his dinner each strike may be causing him stress, so for the next few feeds maybe just leave it on the floor for him to grab himself.
