Hi all, I have just recently got my 1st corn snake and after reading quite a lot of useful info on here i have got a question. I have just got my thermostat and want to know were to put the thermostats temp probe, as some posts have suggested on the actual heat mat (which is outside of the faunarium) and other have suggested on top of the substrate... which is the best place to put it as my brain is about set to explode with confusion (or it could just be i have mis-read quite a bit!!)
Thanks in advance for your replies

People on here put them in different places. You can put it on the heat mat or put it on the floor of the faun but dont put it on top of the substrate as it wont pick up the heat there and the floor of the faun will overheat.

Stick it directly to the mat, its more particle and gives you better control.

Edit - And welcome to the forum
