Posted - 08/08/2009 : 23:54:02 Darren your snakes must be 'ard; in mine's warm end I use chippings and in the cool end I use Aspen. it's about 4-1 inches tall and it loves to burrow in that! I level it off, he burrows and makes loads of funky tunnels. Yet since I made the chips so thin leveled off, he can't really burrow in them
Paper, hardly the eco-friendliest but cheap, and easy to clean!
20p Sun would go a while in a snakes tank though... |

Posted - 08/08/2009 : 17:53:06 I used shredded paper for a long time (until I aquired a sack of aspen) It was easy to maintain and rizla loved to tunnel through it. |

Posted - 08/08/2009 : 16:57:37 The breeder I got Bam from used sheets of newspaper, (not shedded) and I did for a few weeks. Alot of people use it with no problems, so I dont think there wold be one. Just make sure the water bowl is not over filled so it gets the paper wet! |
