Okay, I am getting a new viv soon. and wondering where in my room to put it.

Step mum doesn't paticularly want it in the lounge so thats out. I have to respect her wishes, she let me have the snake

I currently don't have a 2/3ft table top, my current viv is on a bedside table, but not by my bed. and the beside table would be too small to have a 3ft.

Where can I put it, where he would'nt get pestered much by the vibrations.. really stuck with ideas.

thanks guys, enlighten me

Will get hunting. :)

Also, it's always worth asking neighbours and grandparents etc.
They always seem to have a bit of old furniture that can sometimes do.

An old TV stand would do it as well.

forgot about charity shops...

Mine sits on top of the table, leaving me the shelf undreneath for storage.

Try 2 x bedside cabinets , place them either end of the viv , can get those pretty cheap , means you would have plenty of storage in the cupboards and an empty space underneath in the middle of the two .Places like home bargains and B&M , failing that , try St Clare's charity shops , places like that , should get exactly what you need at those places for a decent price :)

I wont put the bottom shelf on. I need some space under it to stuff stuff under it

I got one from argos. Perfect size for a 3 foot viv, and the wood matches my viv. Have a look.

If your in the process of moving why dont you wait till you have moved then sort it.

In the meantime you could use a rub temporarily..

Depending on the area you live.
I have a few shops around here which sell old furniture from house removals. They often have coffee tables and chests of drawers.

my 4ft viv is on an old tv table that used to be in my livingroom which i took when my mum got a new one

if you go into any diy store they should have tables etc.
also if you check places like pound stretcher, home bargins (not sure if you have places like that in england?) there might be some cheap in there

They do cheap tables in Ikea. The double tables are around £10. I got 2 singles as i wanted black and they didn`t have any doubles. They were only £11 for the two.

I have big floor space in there, on a rug, but im worried about the vibes..
hillzi Posted - 01/08/2009 : 20:14:38
if i moved things around, theres a lot of junk in bin liners in my room, in the process of moving, I could stuff them under the table...

where to get a cheap 3ft by 2 table..
Remmy Posted - 01/08/2009 : 20:13:22

hillzi Posted - 01/08/2009 : 19:49:41
